A comparative account of gene expression resources, feature-validations and application-based categorizations

CleanEx

Tool nameCleanEx
URLhttp://cleanex.vital-it.ch
Important featuresA manually curated database of heterogeneous gene expression data based on a consistent gene nomenclature. The data has been compiled from a variety of public sources: (i) published expression data, (ii) information on expression profiling reagents provided by commercial suppliers, (iii) official gene nomenclature databases such as Genew for human and (iv) genome-related public databases such as UniGene, RefSeq, EPD and Swiss-Prot. It also provides various gene expression analysis tools and 'MeSH oriented Data Extraction Tools' and various other data extraction tools.
